Those having blogs are surely well aware of My Blog Log. It is a service for bloggers made by the infamous search engine, Yahoo. Its purpose is simple: to let blog owners know the people that are visiting their blogs.

My Blog Log is truly a handy application for blog owners. In addition to giving information to bloggers, it also allows blog owners to share their blog posts, photos, videos and many more. The best thing about this is that all of the ones mentioned before are done automatically and are posted on a single page. Registration on the site is free. Those that have a Yahoo ID can also make use of them for registration making it a lot easier. When visiting websites that have the My Blog Log widget installed, the display photo of the visitor will be posted on the widget. When the display photo is clicked, those that clicked it will be brought to the My Blog Log page of the display photo owner. With this being said, it is a good way of getting visitors to blogs as well.

All of these are provided free of charge by Yahoo. Unlike Twitter that has followers, My Blog Log adopt the term members instead to those that are following a person’s page.

All in all, My Blog Log is a great website for bloggers. They can let their audience keep track of their activities through a single page and also get visitors through other ways available on the site.
