AlltheWebAlltheWeb is currently one of the few dominant search engines in the Internet. Founded in 1999, the browser was on par with Google in terms of technology and crawling skills. However, it never made it to the spotlight like Google. After the end of the dotcom bubble, AlltheWeb was acquired by Yahoo and today, the search engine is powered by Yahoo Search.

Search engine optimization
is a must for the success of any website and there are a few factors that need to be done to achieve this. One factor is the age of the domain.  More often than not, search engines favors aged domain names as it tells them that the site has had its place in the Internet for quite a while. AlltheWeb is no different to this. The older the domain name, the better it would be. New domain names will find it hard to get good ranking within its first few months as they will be placed in the ‘sandbox’.

Quality backlinks
are also important for a good SEO. Getting back links from relevant sites with high Page Rank will definitely contribute to the optimization of any site. One sided links are often the best although reciprocal links would be highly favorable as well.
Make sure that the anchor text be kept the same so that the site will rank well for that specific keyword or phrases. Try to find keywords that are not too competitive so that it would be easier to rank well. Do this on multiple keywords and the site will nonetheless get good amount of visitors.

As mentioned before, search engine optimization is very important to any website. The best way to do it is to do it within a long period of time. Results may not show for as long as a few months so it is best to be patient and wait.
